SME,Puthuppally MLT Department was established in 1994 under Mahatma Gandhi University Self Financing Department. In 1997 the present campus was set for this centre. The students who achieved from this centre is now well placed all over the world in health care sector.In 1997 this centre was able to organize a mega event “SILEX” in the banner “SILEX 99” and this is been continued as a mega event with seminars, debates, competitions and cultural activities of Medical Laboratory Technology students with a participations from the entire region of our country.This institution is situated by the side of Ettumanoor Perumthuruthy Bypass and 10Kilometers far from Kottayam Railway Station and 11 Kilometers from Kottayam KSRTC Bus Station.
